At SCOPE Recruiting, we have 1 key differentiator from all other firms in the industry -- We are Industry Professionals turned Recruiters -- all our Recruiters have a Supply Chain background.

Our hands-on knowledge and experiences prove immensely beneficial to our clients, leading to higher and faster fill-rates.  Here are our top four reasons you should look to a niche recruiting firm with hands-on experience when hiring an outside agency:

1)      Understanding the Role you are Hiring for

We have first-hand experience either in the roles or working alongside the roles we are hiring for. When a hiring manager speaks of an ERP implementation timeline gone rogue, we can whole heartedly sympathize; the same as we understand the excitement behind a successful on-time (and on-budget!) launch of a new product. We not only recognize the jargon and acronyms, we speak the language. This allows us to ask the right questions from both hiring teams and candidates alike and ensures a strong fit between a role’s needs and a candidate’s experience and capabilities.

2)      Saving you Time

During our intake call, we use our experience to ask the hiring team critical questions to build an effective “Ideal Candidate Profile”. We take that and get to work sourcing and screening candidates. Because we know what we are looking for, we can get right to work skipping the learning curve. We’ll share with you a select group of top-notch candidates within 1 week. Since we are incredibly targeted in our approach, you won’t find yourself reviewing off-base candidates. We’re able to get candidates into your interview process (and hired!) faster—a savings of time, money, and worry!

3)      Access to a Large and Specialized Candidate Network

From our time in the industry, we have built a strong network of connections. Our experience has given us a great reputation as recruiters to work with and has allowed us to continue building strong connections with top prospective talent. We are heavily involved in the industry and stay on top of all trends, news, etc. We are also involved with both ISM (Institute of Supply Management) and CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).

4)      Recognize and attract the Right Candidates

We can identify the benefits and uniqueness of your organization and the role that would appeal to a candidate. Having been in the industry, we know what motivates and excites Supply Chain professionals and how to best convey that to candidates. Do you have robust systems in place that automate all repetitive work? We know how to present that to a Procurement Manager looking for a more strategic role. Do you have zero standard processes, a mess of a warehouse, and want to improve? We know how to communicate that to a Distribution Center Director who loves to turn-around operations and implement Lean.
