The primary focus of the Supply Chain Project Manager is to deliver a specific international multimillion-dollar transformation project. Delivery success is defined by meeting or exceeding timelines, cost parameters, and expected capabilities. The Supply Chain Project Manager will provide subject matter expertise in all areas of detailed project management/ methodology, risk management, and resource scheduling (internal/ external). Duration of the project will be approximately 6-12 months. At the conclusion of the supply chain project, the incumbent will transition into a North American role supporting Supply Chain & Procurement.

Our client provides the world’s laboratories and production environments with the most comprehensive range of labware for scientific research and technical applications as well as solutions for storage and packaging. They manufacture a full range of precision glassware and specialty products for life sciences as well as offer products and services (vials, ampules, stoppers, septa, seals, caps, bottles, tubes, flasks, and value added services) to customers seeking packaging solutions.


  • Lead the project through all phases of Consultant recommendations. This includes the ability to work internationally across multiple functions, including, but not limited to Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Finance.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Supply Chain project work plan, scheduling project resources, duty assignment, responsibilities, and provide technical advice and problem resolution on all aspects of project. The successful Supply Chain Project Manager must be able to effectively balance between collaborative and demand leadership styles to ensure project delivery.
  • Responsible for tracking project expenditures and progress. Modifies project schedules and plans as required to ensure on-time delivery at expected cost levels.
  • Maintain full accountability for project quality; ensuring quality and contractual standards, expectations, and performance.
  • Responsible for communication and status reporting to senior management; detailing issues and possible solutions related to potential roadblocks/ problems that impact critical paths, costs, and/ or quality.
  • Understanding of Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas; Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk and Procurement Management.
  • Liaison with international project team members.
  • Observe all safety precautions, rules and regulations.
  • Understand internal Quality Policy and relevant Quality Objectives.
  • Recognize his/her contribution to the effectiveness of the OPS including the benefits of improved performance and comprehend the impact or effect of not conforming with OPS.
  • Observe all safety precautions, rules and regulations and maintains work area in a clean and safe manner.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management.
  • Previous Procurement experience preferred.
  • Previous consulting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working internationally preferred.
  • Experience managing projects in excess of $2M.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Platform.
  • Proficient with SAP.
  • PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification preferred
