Our Client is seeking innovative Supply Chain Engineers to join our growing Consulting team. As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will utilize cutting-edge operations research, statistical tools, and techniques to improve our customers’ supply chain designs, transportation, manufacturing or warehouse operations. You will collaborate and work creatively to develop practical recommendations which will solve our customer’s business problems. Our Client’s Supply Chain Engineers build strong customer relationships ensuring we understand their business operations and challenges and can make recommendations to increase efficiencies and maximize value.
Identify, analyze, and deliver project-based results to support new initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities in operations
Prepare documentation pertaining to account requirements and update as needed to meet changes in customer requirements and processes
Interact daily with internal and external customers to ensure expectations are being met, collect customer requirements, and to review progress;
Perform both written and verbal reporting for various projects and initiatives
Apply lean concepts & principles such as A3s, value stream maps, kaizen events, and 5S
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct operations, logistics engineering, consulting, or supply chain startup, or equivalent education
Rigorous mathematical analysis ability
Expertise in analysis software (Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, VBA, etc.)
Proficient in Llamasoft Supply Chain & Data Guru
In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (both academic and operational)
Clear presentation, social and public speaking skills
Ability to work within timeline constraints and flexible schedule
Experience with transportation, warehouse & manufacturing including PFEP (Plan for Every Part)
Practical experience of transportation design that was used for execution
Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Management
PMP Certification or proven project management experience
TRAVEL & LOCATION
This role will be based out of Our Client’s HQ in Florence, KY. Florence is a suburb of Cincinnati, OH just 20 minutes away from the heart of downtown Cincy.
This role will travel up to 50%. About 90-95% of that will be travel within the US, Canada, and Mexico.
