The Sub Contractor Strategic Sourcing Manager will work
within our Procurement Department and handle contract negotiations, pricing,
and KPI metrics for all capital assets companywide.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for researching and compiling a comprehensive
database of subcontractors by geography, service offered and established price.
Analyze and perform research on the subcontractor database
to determine geographic areas or services that are underperforming or not meeting
required service levels.
Perform monthly reports to benchmark subcontractor’s
performance by geography and service type.
Perform research and analysis to add new subcontractors to
the database by either geography or service type to improve poor performing
subcontractors or reduce costs of existing subcontractors.
Build and maintain a strong partnership with subcontractors thru
the central office to leverage both volume, growth and cost reductions.
Competitively bid our business in the supply market to
obtain the optimal combination of pricing, quality, service levels and payment
Prepare and lead multi-round negotiations with our subcontractors.
Work with Legal to memorialize and with Operations to
implement supply agreements and contracts.
Repeat this cycle on a regular basis.
Work with various stakeholders to identify and qualify
additional subcontractors and alternative options.
Show current and potential subcontractors an exciting path
to be part of our phenomenal growth
Help build supplier capabilities by communicating our needs
Work to understand our key suppliers’ cost structure to
enable fact-based negotiations.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with contracts.
Consistently monitor internal compliance to purchase from
Identify opportunities to reduce spend by using less of a
given product or service.

College degree preferred, but not a must.
