Associate Consultant: Job Description The Associate Consultant (AC) is an entry-level member of the Brooks International operations engagement team, assisting the team in daily activities and actively training to develop the skills and capabilities required to provide front-line consulting support and work effectively with clients. 

The AC must be able to develop the skills necessary to integrate Brooks International’s approaches and resources into the overall delivery of the client transformation engagement. In addition, the AC must develop expert competencies in the areas of process mapping and redesign, area sequencing, base development, performance metrics, continuous improvement, relationship management, client coaching and training, issue resolution and solution development, implementation plans and strategies and management tool development. 

Further, the AC will take ownership of assigned tasks to assist in achievement of on-time deliverables and financial commitments made. The AC must develop the understanding and ability to apply Brooks International concepts, methodologies and IT tools. The AC must possess and continuously improve the skills necessary to deal effectively with front-line managers and their employees, including earning their respect and confidence, ensuring their ongoing commitment and support of the engagement, developing solid partnerships, convincing them to attempt change sincerely, convincing client managers to lead effectively and escalating any concerns about performance they express. 


The AC is expected to become a skilled implementer with the abilities to develop clear, compelling analyses of relevant client problems, implement solutions to client problems with help from management, translate clear project objectives into implementation activities, provide proper training to client personnel, work effectively to support client change activities, ensure client participation and develop and apply the Brooks International implementation style.
