Job Summary and General Duties:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain, improve

operational efficiency, and enhance overall business performance.

• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory

management, and distribution

• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, finance, and quality

assurance, to align supply chain and operations activities with overall business strategies

and objectives

• Drive operational excellence initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and

enhance productivity. Implement best practices and continuous improvement


• Analyzes market, supplier and delivery conditions to determine present and future

material availability in support of manufacturing

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of supply chain and operations professionals,

providing mentorship, coaching, and training to foster professional growth and

succession planning

• Adjust departments’ activities, policies and practices to meet or exceed key performance

metrics and customer service level goals and on-time deliveries

• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and manufacturing operations, such as

supplier disruptions, inventory shortages, and production bottlenecks

• Creates a safety culture by setting direction to reduce or eliminate operations-related

injuries or accidents, damage/loss of product or equipment, and unnecessary costs by

ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained consistent with the safety,

security, sanitation and appearance standards set by AdvoCare

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains within

the supply chain and operations, and lead initiatives to implement best practices and

innovative solutions

• Work with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant

regulations and standards governing manufacturing, transportation, and distribution of

CPG products, including environmental, health, and safety regulations

• Optimize inventory levels and inventory turnover rates to balance the costs of carrying

inventory with the risk of stockouts and obsolescence.

• Develop production plans and schedules to meet demand forecasts while minimizing

inventory levels, production costs, and lead times

• Develop and implement inventory strategies to ensure optimal levels of raw materials,

work-in-progress, and finished goods.

• Drive strategic initiatives such as SKU rationalization and ensure there is an annual

process in place for such activities

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, fluctuations in demand, and

geopolitical factors.

• Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize supply chain processes.


• In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement,

production, logistics, and distribution.

• Strong understanding of quality control and assurance (inspections, testing, and quality

control processes)

• Knowledge of supply chain optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs,

and improve overall performance.

• Proficiency in using advanced supply chain technologies such as ERP (Enterprise

Resource Planning) systems, warehouse management systems, and demand planning


• Knowledge of POS data management

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams,

suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and present supply chain

strategies and performance metrics.

Experience and Education:

• A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced

degree (MBA) preferred.

• 10-15 years supply chain and manufacturing experience, preferably in CPG industry

• At least 5+ years of manufacturing experience

• Extensive experience in supply chain and operations leadership roles within the

Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.

• Experience with brick-and-mortar relationship management

• Experience working in manufacturing, retail and omnichannel

• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams.

• In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, technologies, and industry trends.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal

and external stakeholders.
