Job Description:

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling all procurement functions as a

single contributor. Your primary role will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement

of goods and services essential for our operations. In the mid-term, you will also play a key role

in building out our procurement department.


? Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

? Experience assigning purchase orders to projects and GL accounts

? Track lead and ship times and ensure orders are delivered on time

? Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory

? Evaluate and report on supplier performance

? Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's needs

? Source, select, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing and terms

? Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement goals are met

? Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures

? Train and mentor junior staff as the department grows


? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related


? 7+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution or

construction environment

? Proven track record of managing procurement functions independently

? Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers

? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
